The Sutton Giving COVID-19 Crisis Fund has been running since 20th April 2020.

Take a look at the infographic to see what has been awarded to date.

The Sutton Giving Panel felt that the time was right to relook at the direction of the Fund and it has been agreed that the emphasis will now focus on REBUILD.

Therefore, Sutton Giving, which is a local giving platform and part of Community Action Sutton, has launched the Sutton COVID-19 Voluntary and Community Sector REBUILD Fund to support local registered Charities, Community Interest Communities and constituted community organisations.

This fund brings together new and existing funding from across Sutton including: Sutton Community Fund; donations from local community groups; Sutton Council, Sutton Clinical Commissioning Group; and private sector donations. It is expected that as further funding is generated then this will be added to the fund.

Objective of the REBUILD Fund:
To support organisations in redesigning their service offer to local residents and communities in the context of the challenges faced during the COVID-19 Crisis and the insight gained

Fund criteria:

  1. Delivering services and activities to community members most impacted on by COVID -19

  2. Facing challenges as they emerge from the COVID-19 crisis and require support to reinstate their service offer

  3. Redesigning their service offer in line with opportunities identified during COVID-19 and who want to explore these to reach more people or reach people in different ways.

  4. Keen to develop new ways of working with other organisations to meet the needs of individuals and local communities

You will also find a detailed overview of other funding sources that are available at this time that may better suit your requirements and we would encourage you to also look into these.
